Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

To operate the Service, Docket processes and stores: Discord IDs (users, servers, channels, roles, messages where relevant), server configuration and module settings, moderation records (cases, warnings, automod events, appeals, tickets), audit and activity logs, and operational telemetry (command usage, error reports).

If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

2. How we use it

Data is used to provide the Service: executing moderation actions, rendering the dashboard, computing analytics and risk scores, delivering notifications, and diagnosing faults. We do not sell your data and do not use message content for advertising.

Where AI-assisted features are enabled (for example, AI moderation or risk explanations), the relevant content may be sent to the configured model provider solely to produce the requested output.

3. Legal bases

We process data as necessary to provide the Service you requested, for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service, and to comply with legal obligations. Server administrators act as the data controllers for their communities; Docket acts as a processor on their behalf.

4. Retention and deletion

Server data is retained while the Bot remains in the server and for a reasonable period afterward to support appeals, audits, and re-installation. Server administrators can request full deletion of their server's data through the support server.

Backups are rotated on a regular schedule; deleted data ages out of backups automatically.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure and subprocessors needed to run the Service (hosting, database, payment processing, and the configured AI model provider where enabled), and when required by law. We do not share data with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards: encrypted transport, access controls, secret isolation, and least-privilege credentials. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify affected server administrators without undue delay.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Server members should direct requests to their server administrators first; administrators can contact us through the support server for assistance.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time and will announce material changes through the Service. Questions and requests can be raised through our Discord support server, linked from the Commands page.
