Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By inviting Docket ("the Bot") to a Discord server, accessing the Docket dashboard, or using any related service (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old and comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.

2. The Service

Docket provides moderation tooling for Discord communities, including but not limited to automod, case management, appeals, ticketing, logging, analytics, and a web dashboard. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice.

Paid subscription tiers unlock additional capacity and features. The specific entitlements of each tier are described at the point of purchase and may change for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, Discord policy, or the rights of others; to abuse, spam, or harass users; to attempt to probe, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service; or to resell access without written permission.

Server administrators are responsible for how the Bot is configured and used in their servers, including moderation actions taken through automod rules, guardian tripwires, and staff commands.

4. Data

The Service stores moderation records, configuration, and operational telemetry about the servers it is installed in, as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain responsibility for informing your members that moderation tooling is in use where required.

We may suspend or terminate access where usage threatens the stability, security, or legality of the Service.

5. Availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docket and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost revenue, or moderation actions taken by the Bot under your configuration. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the Bot from your servers and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, abuse, or non-payment.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Server data may be retained or deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or our support channels. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be raised through our Discord support server, linked from the Commands page.
